Dr. Delene Musielak

Dr. Musielak is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Obesity Medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science at Stony Brook University in New York and her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. She then completed her four-year combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency training at the University of Missouri – Columbia. She then went on to do additional training for Obesity Medicine through a Harvard program.

Dr. Musielak is very passionate about preventative medicine and lifestyle medicine. She has continued to challenge herself and persevere to improve the care that she provides. She prides herself in providing a wholesome wellness program, Shape to Life, which tackles all aspects of lifestyle – including but not limited to nutrition, activity, spirituality and mental health. She is dedicated to helping each individual with an optimized personalized health plan. She believes attaining smaller goals lead to the accomplishment of larger goals and ultimately a long-term lifestyle change.

After helping more and more people lose weight, she has also become interested in aesthetics. “As people get to a healthier weight, they want to feel and look better in general.” As a result, she has continued to grow and add other services to her practice. “Since the skin is the largest organ and our first line of defense, it’s important to take care of it. The health of our bodies and skin impact our physical, mental and emotional well-being.”

She has been featured in multiple media outlets including ABC and KSDK News. She has also been able to share her expertise through multiple publications in Parents Magazine, Forbes Health, Thrive Global, STL Parent and West News Magazine. Dr. Musielak also received the title of the 2021 Mrs. Missouri – Woman of Achievement. She has even started her own podcast, The Dr. Mom Show, where she is known as Dr. Dee – Mom of Three, to serve as a medical informational resource and a place where people can find real answers to everyday questions. Dr. Musielak also serves as medical director over Empowered Infusions, a mobile IV service.

In her free time, Dr. Musielak enjoys spending time with her husband, Matthew, and her triplets, Luke, Ethan and Alina. She loves playing sports, traveling and trying new foods.
